The Stoneman Taurista takes you through the impressive mountains of the Salzburger Sportwelt in 3 varied stages. You can expect 147 kilometers and around 4,700 vertical meters of mountain bike enjoyment.
The Tauern mountains are at your feet: With views of the Großglockner, Dachstein, Bischofsmütze, Hochkönig and Großvenediger, every stage of the Stoneman Taurista is a panoramic experience.
At Grießenkar, Rossbrand or after the Oberhütte, every meter of altitude rewards you with new perspectives. Every summit is a checkpoint - and every ascent an unforgettable part of the journey. On narrow paths, towards the panorama, far away from the stress of competition.
From the panoramic trails around the Penkkopf to the Rossbrand and the high alpine Tauern crossing at Oberhüttensee, each stage combines a sporting challenge with unique nature experiences. Flowing descents, long forest climbs and rustic hut stops make the Stoneman Taurista one of the most beautiful MTB adventures in Austria.
The start and finish of the tour is the Dips&Drops in Flachau - right in the middle of the Stoneman spirit and right in the heart of the Salzburg Alps.
