Munro is the term for a Scottish Mountain over 3000 ft (about 915m) – and there are quite a few of them, especially in the Cairngorm Mountains. If you reached the summit, after a more or less exhausting ascent, you are officially a “Munro Bagger” and if you “bagged” all 282 Munros, you are a respected and honourable “Munroist.” Ben Nevis is the highest of the Munros and, therefore, quite popular. However, also others like Braeriach and the Saddle are summits, which you shouldn’t miss.
