Linnansaari Snowshoeing Trails

The well-marked summer trails of Linnansaari National Park are suitable for snowshoeing in winter. You can reach the main island of Linnansaari either by skating, hiking, or kick-sledding along the winter trail on ice or by ordering a sleigh ride from Oravi. The starting points of the ice trail are in SaimaaHoliday Oravi and Hotel and Spa Resort Järvisydän.  
There is no winter maintenance on the snowshoeing trails. On the island of Linnansaari, you will find campfire sites, a museum croft, and a charming pancake café that is open in the weekends. Camping in the national park is prohibited during the winter.
