The Goldsteig promises pure, varied hiking enjoyment: The 660-kilometer-long Goldsteig is one of the “Top Trails of Germany.” It takes you deep into the fascinating and diverse low-mountain landscapes of the Upper Palatinate Forest and the Bavarian Forest. On our Top Trail of Germany, you can choose between two routes (the northern and southern routes) and explore unique national and nature parks.
