Geospatial Information Authority of Japan

One of the most important tasks of the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) is the production of various base maps. This includes in particular the topographic coverage of the entire country of Japan. The maps serve as a basis for the production of further maps such as area maps for administration, road maps, land use maps and many others.
