With a magnificent panoramic view of the Kaiser Mountains, it offers hours or days of enjoyable relaxation for nature-loving mountain hikers and mountain bikers. Our hut is part of the “Mit Kindern auf Hütten”(With Kids at Mountain Huts) campaign, an initiative by the Alpine Clubs in Germany, Austria, and South Tyrol promoting family-friendly huts. It’s suitable for children ages 3 to 4 and older. Our activity areas for children include: an alpine pasture with grazing animals; plenty of chamois; an easy via ferrata (Jubiläumsklettersteig) for children with via ferrata gear; a children’s hut with play areas in the forest; swimming spots in the valley; a slackline at the hut owner’s place; a rock-building area in the stream bed If you still have any questions, please contact us directly. The Alpenrosenhütte is a professionally managed, cozy DAV Category 1 mountain hut, centrally located in the Nachtsöllberg hiking area and the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental ski region at 1,555 meters above sea level. The hut was built in 1924 and underwent several renovations and expansions until 2015. In May 2016, demolition marked the start of construction for the new Alpenrosenhütte—the new, modern hut was completed in October 2016. Bedding is provided for all beds and dormitories. The use of sleeping bags is not permitted.If you are planning a stay at the lodge with dogs or other pets, please be sure to check with us in advance. Ideal for a short summer getaway… The Alpenrosenhütte is the ideal location for family and mountain vacations. The ambiance of the common areas, the modern rooms, the spacious dormitory, and the quiet location guarantee pure relaxation from the very first day (suitable for people with allergies, as it is free of pollen and dust mites). After a day in the mountains, the lodge team will treat you to regional dishes and culinary surprises. The kitchen uses mainly regional products—because “that’s how the mountains taste”! This initiative by the Alpine Clubs aims to support regional agriculture and offer guests healthy, exceptional food. … and in winter, too … The Westendorf ski area, where the Alpenrosenhütte is located, is part of the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, one of Europe’s largest contiguous ski areas with over 90 lifts and a connection to the Kitzbühel ski area. Snowboarders will find excellent conditions at the Gampenkogel Lift in the Boarders Playground. The ski area is also famous for its numerous rustic and cozy huts. ... for a seminar or conference stay For business or private seminars, conferences, or training sessions, you can book our newly furnished seminar room, equipped with state-of-the-art seminar technology.Up to 15 seminar participants can hold seminars, conferences, and training sessions in the heart of nature, in a quiet and scenic location, while the lodge team takes care of their culinary needs.

New: 360° Tour of the Cabin The cozy atmosphere of the lodge, with its abundance of wood and a warm stove, has been preserved and is lovingly maintained by the lodge owner. Our lodge is part of the “Mit Kindern auf Hütten” (With Kids at Lodges) campaign, an initiative by the Alpine Clubs in Germany, Austria, and South Tyrol promoting family-friendly lodges. It’s suitable for children of all ages, starting from infancy. Our activity areas include: a playground with a Kneipp facility for all ages; a barbecue area with a campfire; the “Unterer Grund” nature trail with a suspension bridge and a viewing platform by the waterfall. In winter: a free children’s T-bar lift and conveyor belt 300 meters away; easy ski tours; a cross-country ski trail; a huge ski area right outside the lodge
