Auf den drei zu Füßen von Kanisfluh und Mittagspitze aneinander gereihten Alpen sind im Sommer neben zahlreichen Milchkühen mit ihren Kälbern auch Pferde, Ziegen, Schweine und Hühner zu finden. Im Sommer werden an den Alpen zünftige Älplerjausen, vor Ort handgemachter Käse und frische Milch serviert. Die kleine Kapelle auf der Wurzachalpe wurde im Jahr 1984 gebaut und geweiht.
