Die Wettersteinhütte liegt auf 1717 m und ist das Ziel von vielen Familien. Von der sonnig gelegenen Terrasse aus genießt man einen schönen Panoramablick auf Leutasch und die umliegende Tiroler Bergwelt.
Für das leibliche Wohl wird mit deftigen Tiroler Speisen auch hausgemachte Mehlspeisen sowie Brettljausen und Suppen gesorgt.
