Bauliches Juwel in den Weinbergterrassen von Obernhof.

Im 19. Jahrhundert wurden hoch über Obernhof und der Lahn Weinbergterrassen angelegt. Zum Schutz entstanden kleine Wingerthäuschen. Eines dieser Wingerthäuschen aus den 1860er Jahren hatte dabei eine ganz besondere Bauform: Es erinnerte in seiner Trockenmauertechnik ein wenig an die Trulli in Süditalien - ein Bauwerk mit Kuppeldach, das vermutlich dem Feldschütz als Unterstand und Beobachtungspunkt diente. Der Traubenklau sollte damit unterbunden werden.
