The Tröpolacher Alm at 1,668 meters above sea level serves as a starting point for countless hikes, especially noting the wonderful view over the Gailtal valley. The hut offers overnight accommodations, and a tour of the cheese factory and barn is possible upon prior registration. Warm meals such as Frigga, bacon with eggs, goulash soup, and Kaiserschmarrn are also offered.
Upon request, we also offer you a great hiking breakfast.
Hiking Tip:
Hike to the Hüttenkofel ZweikofelTröpolacher Alm pasture with its own dairy and refreshment point is located in an idyllic spot high above the Gailtal valley in the Nassfeld region, below the imposing Zweifkofel peak. If you drop in for refreshments, you will be served the dairy specialties made right here on the pasture. Tours of the dairy and the barn are also offered (please book beforehand).
