Umgebung und Aktivitäten
Die Sulzaustube liegt im salzburgerischen Teil des Salzkammergutes bei Strobl am Wolfgangsee im Weißenbachtal östlich des Postalmgebietes.

In der halbwegs schneefreien Zeit bieten sich viele unterschiedlich schwierige Gipfel in der Umgebung zur Besteigung an, der Einstieg in die meisten markierten Wanderwege ist direkt bei der Hütte. Eine entsprechende Wanderkarte kann dabei aber sicher hilfreich sein.

Österreichs größtes Almengebiet, das Postalmplateau, zieht im Sommer wie im Winter viele Besucher an. Über verschiedene Sportaktivitäten informiert die Homepage (www.postalm.at) ausführlich.
