The Stegmoos Alm is an old, rustic hut situated at the foot of the Hochkönig at 1450 metres above sea level.
It is easy to reach (even with a pushchair via a forest path) and is the starting point or stopover for many climbing and hiking trails.

An old, rustic hut in a breathtaking landscape. Easy to reach, even with a pram via a forest path! A regional range of food and drink awaits you. The products are mostly from our own production or from the region. You will also find vegetarian options on our menu.
Children's entertainment is also provided. They can watch cows, calves and horses and romp around in the playground.

Directions

Coming from Salzburg: Take the A10 freeway to the Bischofshofen exit, then take the B311 in the direction of Bischofshofen. Follow the Hochkönig Bundesstraße/B164 to Mühlbach.
Coming from Innsbruck/ Kufstein: On the Loferer Straße/B178 in the direction of St. Johann i.T., then follow the Hochkönig Bundesstraße/B164 via Saalfelden and Maria Alm to Mühlbach.
A valid vignette is required to use the Austrian freeway and expressway network. It is also compulsory to carry a first-aid kit, warning triangle and high-visibility vest. For more information, see Asfinag.
