The refuge "Am Perdsboar" on the Saar-Hunsrück Climb, newly built in 2019, offers you the ideal vantage point for your rest. Look over the woods towards Gusenburg and Hermeskeil and enjoy the peace and quiet during your rest.

The refuges along the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig and the Saar-Hunsrück-Traumschleifen offer hikers a great opportunity to rest on their tour. The refuge "Am Peardsboar" at the Steiner Wald offers a fantastic view over the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park region. There used to be an Indian playground at this spot, which many locals remember fondly. The "Peardsboar" - horse well served the farmers to water their animals while working in the fields. Enjoy the tranquility of the forest and take a deep breath of fresh air.
