The shelter is located above Ranschbach in the vineyards. Two seating areas in front of the shelter invite to a small break during the hike.
Picnic in nature
Whether on a hike or a bike tour: A picnic in the open air is a special experience – especially with regional specialties from the Palatinate! To keep nature as untouched as possible, please only use designated rest areas. In forests and vineyards, there are often no trash cans to avoid attracting wild animals and to keep the landscape clean.
Therefore, the rule is: Everything you bring should also be taken back with you. Food scraps and packaging can be dangerous for animals and often take decades to decompose. Dispose of your waste responsibly and help protect the unique nature of the Palatinate!
