The refuge in the "Forstelbachtal" welcomes hikers for their rest. No matter if you are on the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, or just use one of our beautiful paths from the recreation area Pflanzgarten.

The refuges along the Saar-Hunsrück Climb and the Saar-Hunsrück Dream Loops offer hikers the ideal opportunity to rest on their tour through nature. The "Forstelbachtal" refuge is located right next to the Saar-Hunsrück Climb and the Beaver Trail on a small elevation. In the vicinity of the hut, the hiker receives information about the beaver, which has found its home along the Forstelbach. Discover the impressive dams and castles that the beaver builds and enjoy the gentle ripple of the Forstelbach.
