Lago Verde Mountain Hut

With its natural beauty, Lago Verde is home to numerous species of high-mountain wildlife.

The lake is an ideal starting point for day trips and a must-see stop for multi-day horseback treks between the Germanasca Valley, the Pellice Valley, the Argentera Valley, and the Queyras region in France. It is also an essential starting point for mountaineers who wish to tackle the climbing routes at Bric Bucie. The lodge is located on the shore of the lake of the same name.

We are open daily from mid-June through mid-September. The lodge has 48 beds in new, well-furnished rooms that sleep 4 to 7 people, and we use a solar system to power our underfloor heating. In a cozy dining room, paneled with warm wood and heated by a wood-burning stove, you can enjoy rustic cuisine. The restrooms—fully tiled and heated by the solar system—have sinks and showers with hot water. Bar service, a telephone, books, magazines, and board games are available to hikers.
