The Föisc hut is located on a panoramic promontory offering stunning views over Val Piora, the Leventina and Val Bedretto. It has 8 sleeping places and a small kitchen and is unstaffed.

The wooden structure, built in 2000, is divided into four cosy and well-finished rooms. The hut is equipped with a wood and gas stove, solar-powered lighting and indoor sanitary facilities.

There is no drinking water available on site: two 1,000-litre tanks collect rainwater. Running water is available in the sanitary facilities, while water for cooking must be boiled.

In winter, the hut can be completely covered by snow; for this reason, it is marked by a pole visible even in heavy snow conditions.
