Rifugio Elisabetta Soldini is a lively hut in the Val Veny near Courmayeur

The Elisabetta hut is a very popular one, set in a meadow beneath the massive and beautiulf Aiguille de Tré-la-Tête. This is an easy dayhike from Courmayeur, and there are always plenty of people around, either visiting for the day, staying the night, or passing through on the TMB.

If you're staying the night, Elisabetta has a variety of rooms and small dorms. If you're passing through for lunch, find a table indoors or out, place your order and relax. It can take awhile on busy days, but the atmosphere is superb. Cash highly recommended. Open June-September
