Refuge du Mont Thabor is located at the junction of the Maurienne, Nevache and Narrow Valleys. A "high mountain" refuge softened by the presence of the Marguerite Lakes.
The refuge, built in 1979 by the Club Alpin Français, was inaugurated on June 22, 1980. Several renovations and upgrades were carried out in 2007-2008. The hut has a dormitory for a total of 46 beds with bathrooms on the floor, a restaurant room, and a large terrace.

With a hike of about 3 1/2 hours from the Grange of Narrow Valley.
Parking
There are several parking lots at the Grange of Valle Stretta.
During the months of July and August, parking at the Stretta Valley Grange is charged (€ 3.00 per day)
