Beliebtes Wanderziel im norwegischen Rondane-Nationalpark

Die Peer Gynt-Hytta liegt unmittelbar an der Schlucht Imbertglupen, die von der Vesle Ula durchflossen wird. Sie bietet während der Oster- und Sommerferien sowie an Wochenenden eine Einkehrmöglichkeit. Besonders gefragt sind die hausgemachten Waffeln. Rund um die Hütte finden sich neben der Steinhütte Uløyhytta noch viele weitere kleine Hütten, in denen nach Voranmeldung übernachtet werden kann. Auch das Zelten auf der Wiese vor der Hütte ist nach Anmeldung möglich.

Der norwegische Schriftsteller und Märchensammler Peter Christen Asbjørnsen soll 1842 in der Uløyhytta übernachtet und die Geschichte von Peer Gynts Rentierjagd im Rondane-Gebirge gehört haben. Seine Niederschrift der Erzählung soll wiederum Henrik Ibsen zu seinem berühmten dramatischen Gedicht „Peer Gynt“ inspiriert haben. Die Peer Gynt-Hytta ist über eine unschwierige Wanderung vom See Høvringsvatnet aus erreichbar.

Opening times

Die Peer Gynt-Hytta ist in den Oster- und Sommerferien sowie an Wochenenden bewirtschaftet.
