Mountain shelter Kontejner is located on the southern side of Mosor, on a glade some forty meters away from the intersection of trails that lead towards Ljuto kame and Donji Dolac, Botajna and Sv. Jure (Kozik). It is one hour of hiking away from the mountain lodge Umberto Girometta. Given the fact that the Umberto Girometta facility is closed on working days, Kontejner mountain shelter has turned into an important site, especially for those hikers who wish to take a tour of the entire mountain of Mosor. The key element of the shelter is a prefab container, with the roof and veranda added afterwards.
