Mountain hut Javorova kosa is a wooden house with a steep roof, and there is an open shelter next to it. The shelter has no electricity, but there is a petrol power generator within the mountain hut. The key is kept at the mountain hut. Water is brought from the Božji studenac spring, 6 minutes of hiking away from the facility. This spring occasionally runs dry during summer.
