Möslalm, hut

The rustic alpine hut is located in the beautiful Gleirschtal in the Karwendel Nature Park. From mid-May to mid-October, it welcomes hikers, bikers, and nature lovers with delicious Tyrolean dishes. The highlight - the homemade delicacies: Almbutter, Graukas, and Buttermilk are produced in small quantities.

OVERNIGHT STAY
Groups of up to 15 people are warmly welcomed after prior reservation and can stay overnight in the dormitory. Further information and reservation can be obtained by phone.

STARTING POINT
The car can be left at the paid Karwendel parking lot, the parking lot Länd in Scharnitz. There you will also find the Holzerhütte Museum which invites for a visit. An environmentally conscious alternative is to arrive by train. From the Nature Park Information Center Scharnitz at the Karwendel parking lot, three valleys lead into the nature park: the Gleirschtal, the Hinterautal, and the Karwendeltal. After a while, the road branches off, and you turn right into the Gleirschtal. Whether hiking through the gorge (for experienced hikers), along the forestry road, or biking through the Gleirschtal - the way to the Möslam is always a pleasure. Two hiking taxis also offer support.

SUMMER TOURS

• Gleirsch Gorge. The entrance to the wild and romantic Gleirsch gorge is located just behind the Scharnitzer Alm. From there, a narrow trail (only for sure-footed and experienced hikers) leads past turquoise water, small rapids, and waterfalls, and over carefully constructed wooden walkways. The gorge ends at the Isartal Forest Road, which you follow to the Möslalm.

• Biking tour to the Möslalm. The leisurely tour with a short, steep ascent leads along good forestry roads through the quiet Gleirschtal. An e-bike charging station is available, and the adapter must be brought along.
