Malga Sass

In an unspoilt place, surrounded by forests of fir trees and larches, Malga Sass offers simple but well-kept dishes with raw materials at km 0. It is also possible to stay overnight to enjoy the sunrise at altitude.

1950 metres above sea level, in the Lagorai group, under the peaks of the Cimon del Tres and the Pala Delle Buse and at the top of the Valfloriana, the valley of flowers: just this to understand that Malga Sass (also known as Malga delle Buse del Sasso) is a stage not to be missed. The place is still essentially pristine, surrounded by forests of spruce and larch. Inside, it offers a simple but well-kept kitchen with high quality raw materials. Don't miss the "malga dish": polenta, stew, tosèla, lucanica, beans, sauerkraut. The milk of directly reared cows and sheep is processed on site to obtain delicious cheeses (tosèla, malga cheese and goat cheese) also available for direct sale. In the hut you can also sleep to experience the exciting sunrise experience at altitude.
