Auf Empächli wandern und so einen einmaligen Blick auf die Glarner Hauptüberschiebung, das Martinlsoch und die Tschingelhörner geniessen; das UNESCO Welterbe hautnah.
Im Selbstbedienungs-Beizli von Empächli gibt es Empächli-Alpkäse, Alp-Joghurt und Alp-Butter sowie erfrischende Getränke. «Alles, was das Herz begehrt», so Gabi Elmer-Freuler, und weiter «besuche unser Selbstbedienguns-Alpbeizli und geniesse die herrliche Aussicht, stille deinen Hunger und dönd eifach ächlä högglä und d Ruäh gnüüssä...»
Wenn das Team in der Hütte ist, kann auch ein Käseplättli oder eine Wurst bestellt werden. Weiters gibts einen Kaffee oder auch mal einen Anggäzeltä. Auf Vorreservation können von ca. Mitte Juli bis Ende August auch Zvieri oder Apéros gebucht werden.
Mit der Gondelbahn Elm-Empächli geht es bis auf 1475 Meter über Meer, dann heisst es, obsi, der Alpstrasse nach Richtung Munggä Hüttä und Oberstafel von Empächli.
Eine schöne Wanderung ist der Übergang Wildmad nach Mettmen. Auch ist auf Empächli ein Käsepass-Stempel versteckt, der das Wandererlebnis komplettiert.
Eine weitere Wandermöglichkeit ist der Höhenweg Obererbs – Empächli.
