2013 wurden alle Fenster ersetzt und die ganze Hütte isoliert und neu geschindelt.
Berühmt ist die Lidernenhütte für die tollen Wander- und Klettermöglichkeiten im Sommer und für wunderschöne Ski-, Snowboard- und Scheeschuhtouren im Winter. Ganz besonders ist der Sonnenuntergang über dem wunderschönen Alpenpanorama.
Infrastruktur
Die Hütte bietet 80 Schlafplätze in 6 verschiedenen Matratzenlagern, alle mit Duvets. Ein Hüttenschlafsack ist in der Lidernenhütte obligatorisch. Bitte bringen Sie Ihren eigenen mit oder mieten/kaufen Sie diesen vor Ort. Toiletten und das ganze Jahr fliessend kaltes Wasser sind im Haus. Es gibt keine Duschmöglichkeiten. Hüttenfinken in verschiedensten Grössen, auch für Kinder sind vorhanden. 3 verschiedene Aufenthaltsräume bieten ideale Möglichkeiten für Kurse, Seminare und private Feiern (Geburtstage oder Hochzeiten in unkompliziertem Rahmen). Für Seminare sind sogar Flipchart, Beamer und Hellraumprojektor verfügbar.
Kinder können sich wunderbaren verweilen: Spiele, Kinderbücher und ein kleiner Spielplatz sind vorhanden. Ein Klettergarten liegt direkt vor der Hütte. Klettermaterial kann gemietet werden, auch für Kinder.
Kulinarisch ist die Lidernenhütte sehr bekannt. Sie werden überrascht sein, was auf einer Hütte kulinarisch aus dem Hut gezaubert werden kann.
