Die Kreuzbergalm liegt auf einer Höhe von 1.223 m, zwischen Schliersee und Tegernsee in den Bayrischen Voralpen. Für den Aufstieg nutzt man den Parkplatz beim Café Hennerer, östlich des Schliersees und folgt dem „Prinzenweg“ in 1:30 h zur Alm. Während der Almsaison (Anfang Mai - Ende Oktober) über den Sommer geöffnet.
