The distance along the hiking trails to Karhula is about 0.7 km from Haarusjärvi beach, 2.5 km from Haaruksenportti and 2.0 km from Ruskoranta. In winter, Karhula can be reached with snowshoes.
Note:
- There isn't a dry toilet in Karhula.
- We recommend staying in your own accommodation, a tent etc., instead of the shelter-hut.
- There isn't any drinking water nearby the hut.
- Pets are allowed in the hut.
- Smoking in the hut is strictly prohibited.
- There is no rubbish bins nearby the shelter-hut. The hiker takes care of their waste by carring them off the terrain themself.
