Die kleine Schutzhütte oberhalb von Benshausen hinauf zum Schwarzen Kopf bietet einen schönen Blick auf den Ort. Auch Wanderwege zur Bergbaude Geisenhimmel oder zum Suhler Ortsteil Albrechts laufen hier vorbei. Bänke und ein Tisch im Inneren ermöglichen eine ausgiebige Rast, die großzügige Überdachung bietet Schutz bei jedem Wetter.
