On the sun terrace you can enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama, the perfect place to simply relax and unwind.
The hut, which was completely renovated in 2014, can be reached via the Hirnkopf lift or on foot (snowshoe hike or ski tour) via the Jägersteig trail and is located at an altitude of 1,835 m above sea level.
On the sun terrace you can enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama, the perfect place to simply unwind.
Location: At 1,830 m at the mountain station of the Hirnkopf lift (Flattnitz, Carinthia)
Accessible: On foot (hike 2.5-3 h), by ski tour or chairlift
Season: Winter operation from December to mid-March, daily 09:00-16:00
Cuisine: Home cooking, soups, Carinthian specialties, large sun terrace
Tour tip: Circular hike via Guttenbrunnerhütte & Hirnkopf (~7 km, 470 m elevation gain)
