Die Hinterbalmhütte liegt in einem der usrprünglichsten Täler der Schweiz. Aus nächster Nähe können Sie hier Wildtiere beobachten. Die wildromantische Landschaft und die vielfältige Flora ziehen viele Naturfreunde an. Von hier aus sind Bergwanderungen, mehrtägige Hüttentouren und alpine Bergtouren möglich. Vom Berggipfel zum Bergsee, von Gletschervorfeldern bis zu Alpen - hier können Sie alles erleben.

Vom Dorf Amsteg auf einer kurvenreichen Bergstrasse in ca. 3 km nach Bristen/Maderanertal. Postautoverkehr beachten (beschränkte Kreuzungsmöglichkeiten!).
Fahrt mit PW möglich bis zur Talstation der Golzernseilbahn. Falls Sie weiter hinein fahren wollen ins Maderanertal, können Sie über die Telefonnummer +41 79 66 55 88 1. das Alpen-Taxi nutzen (www.alpentaxi-uri.ch)
