The Grafennsalm is located in the Tux Alps, directly on the Inntaler Höhenweg and the Zentralalpenweg 02A between the Weidener Hut and the Lizumer Hut.

The Grafennsalm is an alpine farm that is run by the Grafenns agricultural cooperative, which consists of seven farmers, and does not offer any catering services.
