The Gollinghütte is an ideal destination for alpine enthusiasts, serving as a place to stay overnight and a starting point for hikes in the Schladminger Tauern.
Located just before the end of the Gollingkessel valley at the Obere Steinwenderalm, this spacious, comfortable hut stands in a natural amphitheater against the majestic backdrop of the “King of the Schladming Tauern.” Here, amidst the rugged, impressive mountain landscape, it serves as a cozy base for climbing the Hochgolling or tackling the world-famous Klafferkessel Tour, as well as a stopover for hikers on the Tauern Höhenweg trail heading toward the Landawirsee and Keinprechthütte.
