Romantische kleine Hütte am Westfuss des Uri Rotstocks und in der Nähe des Gletschers gelegen. Herrliche Aussicht auf die umliegenden Gipfel, den Gletscher und die fantastischen Sonnenuntergänge. Die unbewartete Hütte erfordert Selbstverpflegung, eine Kochgelegenheit ist vorhanden. Für Bergtouren ab der Gitschenhörlihütte sind Alpinkenntnisse nötig.
