Explore the mountains in a breathtaking area in the Southwest Carpathian Mountains. A perfect place for eco enthusiasts and nature lovers looking for relaxation or adventure.

The chalet has a charming view of the lake and is surrounded by meadows, forests, cliffs and mountains. You can enjoy these views and the sounds of nature while you have your meal on the terrace, read a book in the wooden swing or take a walk outside the chalet.

There are no neighbors nearby and only nature will keep you company.

During your stay you can hike on the surrounding hills and admire the meadows with haystacks, a diverse flora and traditional stone or wooden huts. On one of these hills, 2 km from the chalet, there is a beautiful waterfall.

A walk in the vicinity of the chalet, on the lake shore or on the forest roads can also be a very pleasant experience with many beautiful sights.

The lake is guarded by two mountain peaks on both sides: Cozia and the Hohe Wiese. From the hut it is a 3 hour walk to both peaks, which will take you to an excellent 360 degree view of the Tarcu-Godeanu-Cernei-Semenic ridge. There are no marked routes but the trails are easy to follow and the lake is a very helpful landmark.

With a little luck you may spot deer, foxes, rabbits or other wild animals during your excursions.

If you want to relax to the sounds of running water, birds and nature, you can. Two rivers surround the chalet and are each 200 m from it.

The wooden architecture of the chalet and its rustic furniture create a relaxing and natural environment. The relaxing atmosphere inside is also enhanced by the wonderful view from the window of the lake and the mountains. Simply put, the chalet is a very well integrated piece into the beautiful landscape of the area.
