Bei der bewirtschafteten Alpe Topfen handelt es sich um eine Sennalpe. Die Kühe verbringen die Sommermonate auf den Weideflächen rund um die Alpe. Sie werden vor Ort gemolken, um aus der Milch Allgäuer Käse herzustellen. Auf der Alpe gibt es neben Bergkäse und Eis aus eigener Produktion auch Buttermilch, Brotzeiten und hausgemachte Kuchen.
