Between the Stanserhorn and Melchsee-Frutt, the Oberlachen Alp dormitory is available as a stopover for tired hikers with refreshments.
On the Obwalden and Nidwalden High Trail, Alp Oberlachen in Melchtal offers hikers overnight accommodation and refreshments. The regional SwitzerlandMobility routes 57 (Obwaldner Höhenweg) and 88 (Nidwaldner Höhenweg) lead along the same route from the Stanserhorn over the Storeggpass to Melchsee-Frutt - there and back.

The offer
- The season is from June 12 to approx. mid-October
- Overnight stay on the alp with morning meal
- Two dormitories on mattresses for 6 people each. Pillows and comforters are provided. For hygienic reasons, however, we recommend that you bring your own sleeping bag.

- Purchase of own organic products Alpine cheese, fried cheese, butter
- Please reserve your sleeping place in advance using the online booking form
