Die Alp Hinter Wissenboden liegt oberhalb der Bergstation der Seilbahn Biel-Kinzig und unterhalb der Chinzig Chulm. Auf 1600 bis 1800 m ü. M. begrenzen sie im Westen die Alp Vorder Wissboden und im Osten die Vorder Gisleralp. Hinter Wissenboden dient einer Älplerfamilie als Unterstafel.
