Die Arnialp liegt direkt am Arniseeli – inmitten eines kleinen Ferienorts und beliebten Ausgangspunkts für Wanderungen. Von Intschi und Amsteg aus führt jeweils eine Seilbahn hoch. Wenige Minuten von den Bergstationen entfernt befindet sich die Arnialp, auf rund 1400 m ü. M. Hinter der Alp erhebt sich der Sunnig Grat. Die Arnialp ist Hauptstafel für einen Alpbetrieb mit ein paar Kühen.

Rund 500 Kilogramm Bratkäse, die sogenannten Arnimutschli, entstehen auf der Arnialp. Im Hochsommer bleibt jedoch teilweise keine Milch mehr übrig für die Käseproduktion; denn die Käserin produziert in dieser Zeit vor allem Rahm, Butter und Joghurt für die Feriengäste auf dem Arni. Alle Produkte stehen auf der Alp direkt zum Verkauf. Joghurt und Quark von der Arnialp gibts auch am Wochenmarkt in Altdorf zu kaufen.
