The alpine farming lies at the foot of the Dobratsch in the "Schütt". This landslide area of the Dobratsch is one of the most impressive and scientifically interesting landscapes in Carinthia. A relatively flat and short hiking trail leads from Oberschütt along the Gail to the hut.
