Inmitten einer herrlichen Gebirgslandschaft auf der Henaralm im Toten Gebirge liegt diese Hütte vom Österreichischen Touristenverein (ÖTV).

Das Albert-Appel-Haus liegt auf etwa 1.660 m im Toten Gebirge in der Steiermark und ist ein beliebter Stützpunkt für Wanderungen, Mehrtagestouren und Überschreitungen im weitläufigen Karstgebirge. Umgeben von alpinen Wiesen, Latschenfeldern und markanten Felslandschaften bietet die Hütte eine eindrucksvolle Kulisse und eine ruhige, ursprüngliche Atmosphäre. Besonders reizvoll ist sie als Etappe auf Touren rund um den Grundlsee, den Loser und durch die abgeschiedenen Hochflächen des Toten Gebirges.
