Hostel in the Nock Mountains

The Neue Bonner-Hütte belongs to the German Alpine club, section Bonn. The hut is located close to Rennweg am Katschberg on 1,712m above sea level. The area around the hut is called Nockberge, a foothill of the National park Hohe Tauern. You will find a natural paradies for hiking and in winter for ski touring literally made for families, beginners and people that aim to enjoy their stay. The hut offers overnight accommodation for 29 persons split in 11 rooms with different sizes. Every room has fluent warm and cold water from the tub and central heating. The sanitation area for all overnight guests is located on the first floor and includes two separating shower cabins. Next to the two comfortable dining areas the hut offers a huge sun terrace with partly shelted seats. In winter the tile stove creates a cozy atmosphere. Furthermore, we offer a big playground including climbing field for children.

Youth Hostel Cap Wörth has 229 beds, is situated right next to the Wörthersee and offers everything you need for a relaxing and varied holiday: beach, sunbathing lawn, sports facilities, kid’s playground, park, forest, and lots more... All of our 4 singles, 17 doubles and 55 3-6 bed apartments have their own shower, anteroom and toilet. In the basement and ground floor there is an internet-café for guests, a pub, sauna, a games room, gym, computer training room, multifunctional common and seminar rooms as well as a Stüberl (cosy Austrian style common room). One large hall with a stage and theater equipment completes our wide range of rooms. Each of the 3 floors has its own common room with satellite TV. Furthermore, 5 room units are designed for handicapped people. Our hostel’s highlight is the spacious indoor swimming pool There is an on-site car park for our guests. As an additional service we offer a lockable bicycle shed as well as heated ski and shoe rooms. The hostel team will be happy to assist you in planning your program. We cooperate with a travel operator specialized in school sports weeks and organize skiing trips to Kranjska Gora, Tarvisio and a Carinthian skiing region with the motto „Grenzenlos / brez meja / senza confini" There are many activities in and around Velden. Velden is a much visited place throughout the year. It was the scene of action of many films and has a casino. Its ideal location makes it the perfect base for leisure, sports, cultural, skiing, project and holiday programs. Velden has always been a favorite location for conventions and seminars due to the combination of a wide range of activities with a relaxed atmosphere In addition to a rich buffet breakfast we offer three-course lunches and dinners. Upon request we prepare small or large packed lunches for your trips. Drinks, cold and warm snacks as well as ice cream and coffee are available at all times. We also cater for seminars. "Revival of the summer resort" With the Badehaus Millstätter See, a lake wellness facility in the style of the historic bathhouses was created in the middle of the Nockberge mountains on the shores of Lake Millstätter See. The Jugendheim/Mladinski dom was finished in the year 1983 and is leaded during the summer-holidays as a boarding house with bed and breakfast. All rooms (single and double rooms) are supplied with shower and WC. There are also a gym, dining room, 2 TV-rooms, parking lot, table tennis, a park and playground for the nursery with a minisoccerground at Your disposal.

House description: The hostel is situated near Klagenfurt´s university and makes a good base for exploring Carinthia´s lake region. It offers access to a range of sports, cultural activities throughout the year. Other facilities include internet access, three-course lunches and dinners, packed lunches and satellite TV. Prices: The price quotes for a member of the Youth Hostel Federation per person and night and is valid from the 1st of december until the 30th of November for the following year. Bed linen is available. We kindly ask you to bring towels along, otherwise they are also available for a small fee at the reception. The Don Bosco guest house, built in 2001, is located in a quiet residential area just five minutes south of Klagenfurt's main train station. The three-storey building houses eight different apartments for 1 - 5 people. Each apartment has a balcony, a TV set with cable TV and its own cooking facilities. The individual floors can be easily reached by elevator. During the school term (September - June), the apartments are mainly used by school leavers and students. During the vacations, the apartment house is available to international guests.
