Hiking in Wassertrüdingen

From the Schieferbruch hiking car park near Wittelshofen on the Geological educational and hiking path over the Hesselberg to the Osterwiese. From there, descent past the Protestant Educational Center Hesselberg to Gerolfingen. Then along the Wörnitz following the Alemanni's footsteps to the Wunibald spring and finally to Fürnheim.

The Geilsheim circular hiking trail takes about 3 1/2 hours around the village of Geilsheim. It is also a story trail. 21 of the approximately 120 hiking signs have QR codes attached. Behind them are interesting stories "Around the village of Geilsheim."

The destination is the tower of the fortified church in Hohentrüdingen to be visited. The church tower offers a unique view over the Hesselberg region, the adjacent Nördlinger Ries and the Hahnenkamm.
