Estany Gento–Estany Tort Cable Car Station – Carrilet Route – Coll de Triador – Llesui

This short, quiet hike around the Pamano with little elevation difference lasts about two hours. The river is crossed twice. Initially, it goes through a mysterious forest and gradually ascends until there is a magnificent view over the valley. If you pay attention, you can even hear the voices of the Pamano nearby.

The Àssua Valley is located in the Pallars Sobirà Pyrenees region in Catalonia. It borders the Fosca Valley to the west, the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park to the north, and the Noguera Pallaresa Valley to the south and east. The lowest point is the town of Rialp at 700 m elevation, while the highest point is the peak of La Mainera at 2,906 m. The valley's climate is mountain Mediterranean, but alpine above 1,500 m. Therefore, it is dry and sunny in summer and cold and snowy in winter. Autumn and spring are mostly rainy.
