Hiking in Scheer

From the Gorge to the Wild Danube - Pure nature and silence: Half-day route with stream experience and Danube valley view

Circular hike starting from Sigmaringendorf along the Danube to Sigmaringen and returning via Laucherthal and Scheer to the starting point.

The RW 1 is the longest circular hiking trail in the municipality and can be well planned as a day tour. It is best to walk it counterclockwise, as it is indicated on the hiking signboard. Since it leads through forested areas over long stretches, it is an ideal activity for hot summer days. There is also a swimming opportunity at Zielfingen Lake and a place to eat. The pure walking time - without a possible detour to Josefslust - is about 2.5 hours to the Zielfingen Lakes, and about 1 hour for the return journey to the village.

Die Rundwanderung startet in Sigmaringendorf führt an der Lauchert entlang über Laucherthal zum Scheerer Schloss und wieder an der Donau zurück zum Startpunkt. Dabei gibt es zahlreiche Besichtigungsmöglichkeiten von Kirchen und Schloss und natürlich kann z.B. eingekehrt werden in Scheer oder am Ende in Sigmaringendorf
