Weather-proof mainly paved road through the Thomatal takes us past the blast furnace museum and the pine carving of the "Holy Family in the Pine" to Schönfeld.

Over forest paths to the gently rounded peaks, the "Nocken" - from Ramingstein over many summits, e.g. the small Königstuhl, to the Mehrl hut.

A circular hike whose ascent to the Königstuhl summit was almost without markings, on 27.7.2017. Finding the way from Schilchernock to after the Rosaninhöhe was very easy using the pasture fence as a guide.

The Rupertiweg 10 was opened in 1979 and runs through the federal states of Upper Austria, Salzburg, and Carinthia. It stretches from Bärenstein in the Bohemian Forest to the Nassfeld in Carinthia. This path reaches almost 2800 m elevation on the Reisseck high route, so sure-footedness and a head for heights, as well as orientation skills in fog, are partly required. The Rupertiweg is part of the European long-distance path E10.

Valley hike from Weißpriach via Mariapfarr to Tamsweg to the Catholic churches. Further via Lasaberg and the rock promenade to Finstergrün Castle in Ramingstein.

From the village of Lessach along asphalt and forest paths past the Turnschall ruins to Tamsweg and from the catholic church in Tamsweg via the Mur cycle path to Ramingstein.

A barren high valley in the Lungauer Nockberge MountainsUnlike in winter, the Karneralm leads a rather sleepy existence in summer. Only a few tourists find their way into this expansive high valley, where you can easily hike off the beaten path across the vast ridges. Since no public buses serve the Karneralm, the beautiful tour described here—which takes you across vast alpine meadows—can be comfortably completed almost exclusively with two cars.

Moderately difficult but promising hike along the “Leonhardsweg” pilgrimage route to the Laserberg.
