Hiking in Oftringen

Fascinating history, proud witnesses of time, and pure nature – on the route developed in the 13th century, historical landmarks await hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers.

The Breath Path in Safenwil aims to bring breath closer as a source of strength and energy in a playful and natural way. A longer and a shorter round invite you to conscious breathing.

Draw energy from the forest and get inspired, enjoy the peace, find yourself. 

It is an easy route with a beautiful panorama. With the Mühletäli Wildlife Park, the Alt-Wartburg ruins, the Sälischlössli, and various barbecue areas, it is also entertaining for children and very doable.

This section of the AareLandWeg leads along the two bodies of water, Aare and Wigger, away from well-known cycling and hiking routes.

3rd stage on the trail of Brother Klaus von Flüe from Liestal, where he gave up his pilgrimage, to Ranft, where he later lived as a hermit. Aarburg, along the Tych and the Wigger to Zofingen, then along the slope to Wikon and Reiden and from there again along the Wigger to Nebikon. 20 km, 140 m ascent, 50 m descent (22 effective kilometers), 7 km asphalt

Beautiful route with great exercises. Sometimes demanding, then relaxed and easy again. Great day trip!

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Not a difficult hike. Suitable for children, the shorter route can also be done. At the end, there is a very nice barbecue area.
