Hiking in Germering

Simple circular route for families and nature lovers that starts and ends at Puchheim S-Bahn station. The path leads through one of the most beautiful avenues in the district. Two Kneipp facilities and a playground are located along the route. The destination is Germeringer See, a bathing lake with a very well-run kiosk. At the end of the route, the coffee house invites you to visit.

Easy, beautiful, and informative hike through lovely parks, new facilities, and the Orthodox Metropolis of Munich. You can do the route in your preferred direction.

Alling-Nebel-Germeringer See-Parsberg circular hike for dry weather in any season

We hike as close as possible along the city boundary around Munich (total length approx. 125 km in 9 stages). Start and finish are always accessible by public transport. The further stages will follow shortly.

Fields, moors, and a forest hill in the western part of MunichThe Aubinger Lohe is a flat moraine hill from the Riß glaciation and the most significant natural elevation within the Munich gravel plain. It is almost completely covered with forest and is popular among walkers, joggers, Nordic walkers, and cyclists who use the wide forest paths for a short break from urban life to get some fresh air. However, the vast fields, moors, orchard meadows, and forests surrounding the lonely Moosschwaige farmstead, south of the Aubinger Lohe, also invite extended explorations. On clear days, there is even a view of the Alps. Both areas – Moosschwaige and Aubinger Lohe – individually make a fine destination for an evening outing or a morning walk.
