Hiking in Feilitzsch

This path was created on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the reunification of the German states. 

From Drei-Freistaaten-Stein to Lauenstein Castle.

Varied hiking route with "border experience" and a touch of recent German history.

The ridge route in 9 days - stage 9 from Kienmühle to Blankenstein. In my route series "Ridge route in 9 days" the focus is clearly on the sporting aspect. Long hiking days with many kilometers are on the program - not for late risers and Sunday hikers. To accomplish this route, you should be well trained, daily distances up to 40km, even over several days with a backpack, should not disturb your peace. In addition to physical endurance, mental strength is especially required here. It is important to go at your own pace, find the right flow, and this works best when hiking alone. If you are not fit, you will be by the time you reach Blankenstein. ;-) The route series is primarily aimed at hikers who want to walk the ridge route independently without luggage transport and prior booking of accommodations. Therefore, where necessary and sensible, I have noted information on overnight stays and catering options in the route descriptions for the individual stages.

Unknown, because unmarked, hiking route from Gutenfürst to Feilitzsch (10 km / 2-3 hours) very idyllic, nice viewpoints and places to stop for a break in Unterhartmannsreuth or Feilitzsch (both with beer gardens).The hike is at your own risk.
