Hiking in Comps

The HexaTrek is a trail of 3,034 km and 136,000 m of elevation gain connecting 14 of the most beautiful French natural parks and crossing France from the Vosges to the Pyrenees.

Mountains like in the Northern Alps, but with more sun, the Hautes-Alpes are a paradise for hikers who venture there.

Situé en moyenne montagne au bord de la rivière Jabron, ce bourg a une forte tradition potière, due à la présence de carrières d’argile, quiremonte à l’époque gallo-romaine.

After descending down the GR 36 from the Pyrenees the E4 follows the GR 7 along the southern flank of Massif Central and the GR 4 through the Massif and across the Rhone Valley. It then follows the GR9 up through the Vercors and the Jura before crossing into Switzerland north of Geneva.
